About Jade
Jade Garisch is an Avant-pop singer songwriter from the Eastern Cape who currently lives in Cape
Town. She comes from a background of theater and classical music. Garisch studied theater arts at Brandeis University in Boston, USA.
Following this, she spent some time performing and working in the United States, but ultimately decided to return to South Africa to pursue a career as an artist in Cape Town. She is inspired by most genres and aims to create dreamy songs that inspire and move. Her recent songs include Bad Bitch, Oceans Apart and Down That Road. Her recent collabs include Postcards with Ashwin Smith and Sink Not Swim with M. Rumbi.
